Peanut Butter Power Balls

Enter: 4 ingredient peanut butter power balls. A good source of healthy fats, protein and  combo of slow and quick release carbs…these little bites pack a nutritional punch. Peanuts are high in oleic acid, a type of fatty acid that is known for protecting against free radicals, an antioxidant, and also helps fight inflammation after a tough workout.

Protein as many of you know helps to rebuild and repair muscle tissue and carbohydrates replace those depleted glycogen stores, so come next workout or game, you have plenty of the body’s preferred energy source!



  • 1 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup semi sweet chocolate chips


Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir. Place bowl with ingredients in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Remove bowl from refrigerator and shape mixture into power balls, 1 tbsp at a time. Store covered in the refrigerator. Yield: 16-20 power balls.
